The New Looney Tunes Show: The Complete 1st Season is a DVD boxset containing all 26 episodes from the first season of The New Looney Tunes Show. It will be released by Warner Home Video in December 21, 2016, being also available in Blu-ray.
Production[]
In November 2013, Warner Bros. Animation executives sent the pitch reel to Cartoon Network. Lazzo was impressed and then greenlit the show for a first season. Production began on March 2014. Due to the writing and animation being both expensive at the same time, the first season was heavily produced for three years. They've spent months storyboarding and re-storyboarding the episodes. Voice actors and actresses are able to retake their lines more. As the animation began production in January 2015, they took a long time drawing character layouts of the characters and would also send them to both cheap and expenisve overseas animation studios. Correcting animation errors even took a long time as well. Post-production came out around November. The foley artists, including music composers, recording the soundtrack and sound effects for the series. The first season episodes were in a final mix and production finally ceased with a wrap party in May of 2016.
